#Gate事件合约晒单挑战 Bitcoin 4-hour bullish thesis

After Bitcoin swept the sell-side liquidity below $80,000 on the 4-hour timeframe, it established a solid bottom. When it pulled back to the previous order block (resistance-turned-support zone), clear buying absorption emerged, with long lower wicks confirming support and the momentum indicator (RSI) remaining strong. Meanwhile, the price is hugging the outside of the lower Bollinger Band, the 1-hour RSI has fallen back to 41, and the 4-hour MACD histogram remains positive, creating conditions for an oversold recovery.

Technical logic: Demand-zone retest + liquidity structure

This is the core short-term bullish basis. The sell-side liquidity below the $80,000 level has been swept, and the price formed a standard demand-retest structure on the 4-hour timeframe: “liquidity sweep → pullback → buying absorption.” After the previous resistance level turned into support, the pullback held above support and long lower wicks appeared repeatedly, indicating genuine buying at this level rather than merely a technical rebound.

Capital-flow logic: Institutional buying is replacing short squeezes

After retreating from above $81,000, the market still found genuine buyers in the $79,500-$80,000 range. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw approximately $731 million in net inflows on Thursday, one of the largest single-day inflows since 2026, with BlackRock IBIT contributing approximately $454 million. This rebound initially relied on forced short covering, while the large ETF inflows indicate that new real capital is beginning to take over. This is a key signal that the market is upgrading from a “squeeze rebound” to “trend continuation.” Bitcoin rose 25.1% overall in August, and the foundation of institutional buying has been established.

Trend logic: The short-term moving-average system remains bullish

Bitcoin is currently trading near $79,600, well above MA50 ($69,098) and EMA50 ($71,383), while the daily structure remains bullish. It has risen more than 40% from the July low, and none of the pullbacks along the way has disrupted the higher-low structure. The bullish case on the 4-hour timeframe is built precisely on this daily bullish backdrop—the larger trend remains intact, so pullbacks on the smaller timeframe present opportunities to add to positions.
