$HYPE has officially entered price-discovery mode.

Hyperliquid’s native token has broken above its previous resistance and pushed to a fresh all-time high around $88, putting HYPE firmly back in the spotlight.

But reaching a new ATH is only half the story.

The bigger question now is:

Can HYPE turn the old breakout zone into new support?

After a strong rally, I’m watching the $84–$86 area very closely. If buyers defend this zone, it could become the foundation for another attempt toward $88–$90.

A clean breakout above $90 could open the door toward:

🎯 $95 — next momentum target
🎯 $100 — major psychological milestone
🚀 $105–$110 — extended bullish scenario

However, price discovery works both ways.

With HYPE already making a major move, profit-taking can become aggressive. If $84–$85 fails, I would watch $80–$82 next. A deeper move toward $76–$78 would indicate that short-term momentum is cooling and the market needs more time to rebuild.

🔥 Why HYPE Is Different

HYPE isn't moving purely because of speculation.

The token is closely connected to the Hyperliquid ecosystem, one of the most closely watched decentralized derivatives platforms in crypto.

Protocol activity, trading volume, ecosystem growth and the platform’s buyback mechanism have all become important parts of the HYPE narrative.

That combination gives HYPE a stronger fundamental story than a simple momentum trade.

But fundamentals don't eliminate volatility.

Crypto can move extremely fast, especially when an asset is already near record highs.

$88–$90 → immediate resistance / momentum zone

My short-term bias remains bullish while HYPE holds the breakout structure.

The ideal scenario would be a controlled retest of $84–$86, followed by increasing volume and another push above $88.

I would rather see that confirmation than chase a vertical candle at the top.

Because when an asset enters price discovery, FOMO becomes dangerous.

The goal isn't to catch every dollar.

The goal is to identify the structure, manage risk and let the market prove the next move.

If BTC remains stable and capital continues rotating into strong altcoins, HYPE could remain one of the most interesting tokens to watch.

But if BTC suffers a sharp correction, HYPE won't be immune.

Above $88 → $90 → $95 → $100 comes into focus.

Holding $84–$86 → bullish structure remains healthy.

Below $78 → the short-term bullish setup needs serious reassessment.
