Bitcoin is back above $80,000, but the real test begins now.

At the time of writing, $BTC is trading near $81,000 after testing the $82,000 area. That puts price directly below an important resistance zone.

Key levels I am watching:

• Immediate support: $80,000
• Stronger support: $77,000-$78,000
• Main resistance: $82,000-$82,500
• Next target after confirmation: $85,000

My strategy is simple: I am not chasing this move.

If Bitcoin retests $80,000 and buyers defend it, I will look for continuation. A strong close above $82,500, followed by a successful retest, would make the breakout more convincing.

However, losing $80,000 could bring another test of the $77,000-$78,000 zone. A clean break below that area would invalidate my short-term bullish setup.

The upcoming U.S. jobs report may create sharp moves and false breakouts, so smaller position sizes and clear invalidation levels matter today.

Reclaiming $80K is bullish. Holding it is what truly matters.

Which level are you watching first: $80K support or $82K resistance?

Selling pressure around the 82K resistance zone is quite heavy, but if this pullback can hold at 80K, the bullish structure remains intact. I’m watching the 77–78 range and plan to pick up some if it really dumps.

Holding $80K would be a victory; if it fails to hold, $78K is next. There’s no need to rush in this market—keep your position size light, set your stop-loss, and staying alive is the most important thing.
