GT/USDT Technical Analysis: GT $8.63 Strong Momentum, But Is the Rally Running Too Hot?

GT is showing an impressive short-term recovery, with the price trading around $8.63 and gaining approximately 7.47% over the past 24 hours. The move pushed GT from a 24-hour low near $8.03 to a high of $8.69, highlighting aggressive buying pressure.

The first major bullish signal comes from the moving averages. GT is currently trading above MA5 at $8.33, MA10 at $8.15, and MA30 at $8.05. More importantly, the averages are aligned bullishly, with MA5 above MA10 and MA10 above MA30. This structure confirms that short-term momentum is currently favoring buyers.

However, the RSI is sending a clear warning.

RSI(6) stands at 91.74, an extremely overbought reading. RSI(12) is also elevated at 79.96, while RSI(24) sits around 68.13. These numbers show that the current rally is extremely aggressive. Strong RSI readings can remain elevated during powerful trends, but they also increase the probability of a short-term pullback or consolidation.

From a price-structure perspective, $8.69 is the first important resistance because it represents the recent 24-hour high. A clean breakout above this level with strong volume could bring $8.79 and eventually the psychological $9.00 area into focus.

On the downside, $8.50 is the first level I would watch. Losing this area could expose GT to $8.22, followed by the moving-average zone around $8.05–$8.33.

Volume is another important factor. GT has recorded roughly 102.08K in 24-hour volume and approximately $850K in turnover. Compared with the size of the price move, liquidity does not appear extremely strong. That means volatility can increase quickly in either direction.

One more point is the average price around $11.42. With GT still significantly below that level, the current move looks more like a recovery rally than a confirmed long-term trend reversal.

My view: GT remains bullish in the short term, but chasing the move at extreme RSI levels carries higher risk. A pullback toward $8.30–$8.40 could offer a healthier risk/reward setup.

If GT breaks $8.69 with convincing volume, $8.79–$9.00 becomes the next area to watch. If $8.50 fails, caution becomes important.
