🚀 DELL AT $515: THE AI INFRASTRUCTURE STORY JUST GOT MUCH BIGGER
Dell Technologies has suddenly become one of the most important stocks to watch in the AI infrastructure race.
After an explosive 17.15% gain on September 3, DELL is now trading around $515, pushing beyond the psychological $500 level and extending one of the most remarkable stock repricings of 2026.
This is not simply another technology-stock rally.
Dell's latest earnings showed that the AI infrastructure boom is translating into massive real-world demand.
The company reported record fiscal Q2 2027 revenue of approximately $47 billion, up 58% year over year. Adjusted diluted EPS reached $7.04, representing a staggering 203% increase, while GAAP EPS climbed 273% to $6.34.
But the number that really captured Wall Street's attention was AI server demand.
Dell recorded a record $60.9 billion in AI-optimized server orders during the quarter, while AI-optimized server revenue reached $16.4 billion, roughly double the year-ago level.
And then there is the backlog.
Dell ended the quarter with approximately $95 billion in backlog, giving investors an unusually strong view of future demand.
This combination is powerful:
$60.9B in AI server orders.
$16.4B in AI server revenue.
$95B backlog.
$192B FY2027 revenue guidance.
$25.50 adjusted EPS guidance.
Management's guidance upgrade may be the biggest part of the story.
Dell previously expected approximately $167 billion in FY2027 revenue, but that forecast was raised to around $192 billion. Adjusted EPS guidance jumped from $17.90 to $25.50.
That is not a minor adjustment.
It suggests that management is seeing AI infrastructure demand at a scale significantly larger than previously expected.
And the stock market responded immediately.
Dell's September 2 rally came with enormous volume. Approximately 35 million shares changed hands compared with a three-month average near 7.7 million shares.
That is roughly 4.5 times normal volume.
At prices around $500, billions of dollars worth of DELL shares were being repriced in a single session.
The move also benefited the broader AI ecosystem.
Nvidia gained 3.21%, Micron rose 2.43%, Qualcomm advanced 2.01%, while SK hynix's U.S.-listed shares gained approximately 2.61%.
That correlation is important.
Nvidia provides the AI accelerators.
Memory companies provide critical high-bandwidth components.
Dell helps transform those technologies into complete computing infrastructure.
In other words, Dell is becoming a major bridge between AI chips and the enormous data-center buildout taking place globally.
Now DELL is around $515, so the technical picture has changed.
The old $500 resistance has become the first major level to watch.
If DELL can establish $500 as support and continue attracting strong volume, the next psychological targets could be $525, $550 and eventually $600.
On the downside, $490-$500 becomes an important support zone, followed by approximately $470-$475. A deeper correction toward $450-$460 would still be understandable after such an explosive move.
My view?
I remain bullish on Dell's fundamentals, but I would not chase a vertical candle simply because the price is moving fast.
The company has already delivered an extraordinary repricing, with the stock having gained roughly 281% year to date before the latest explosive move.
At $515, expectations are now extremely high.
The next question is no longer whether AI demand exists.
The real question is whether Dell can continue converting that demand into revenue, margins and free cash flow.
For me, the key numbers to monitor from here are AI server orders, backlog growth, AI server revenue, gross margins, free cash flow and future EPS revisions.
If those metrics continue improving, $500 could eventually look like just another milestone.
The bigger picture is even more interesting.
The AI revolution is expanding beyond GPUs.
It is creating demand for servers, memory, networking, cooling, power systems, data centers and enterprise infrastructure.
Dell sits directly inside that ecosystem.
At $515, the market is clearly betting that the AI infrastructure cycle still has much further to run.
Now the battlefield is simple:
Above $500 → bullish structure.
Above $525 → momentum confirmation.
$550 → next major psychological target.
$600 → possible longer-term target if fundamentals keep accelerating.
Below $470 → risk of a deeper profit-taking phase.
The AI infrastructure story is getting bigger, and Dell may be one of the clearest examples of how this boom is spreading far beyond semiconductor companies.
The numbers are powerful.
The momentum is powerful.
But after such an extraordinary rally, disciplined risk management matters more than ever.
