I’ll be honest, this is one of those charts that makes you look twice.
EDGE was basically sleeping around the 0.36–0.40 area, then buyers started stepping in and the whole structure changed. Now we’re sitting around 0.5393, after touching 0.5520, with a 24H move of more than 21%.
That’s not a small shift.
What I like is that this wasn’t just one giant candle and nothing else. Price kept grinding higher, reclaimed the short-term averages, pulled back a little, and then pushed again. MA(5) is around 0.5077, while MA(10) is near 0.4781 and MA(20) around 0.4393.
That tells me buyers have been in control for a while now.
The volume is another thing I can’t ignore. It really started expanding as the breakout accelerated, and open interest has climbed sharply alongside price. There’s clearly fresh activity coming into EDGE.
MACD is also doing exactly what you’d expect from a move like this. DIF is well above DEA and the histogram is still expanding.
But here’s where I’d slow myself down.
RSI is around 93.
That’s extremely stretched on the 1H timeframe. It doesn’t automatically mean “short,” and strong trends can stay overbought longer than most people expect. But it does mean I’m definitely not comfortable chasing a candle up here.
Price is also sitting close to the 0.5427 resistance, with the recent high at 0.5520.
So this is where I want to see whether buyers can actually keep control.
If EDGE breaks that 0.5520 area with real volume and holds the breakout, that would be a different conversation.
If instead we get a sharp rejection, I’d be watching 0.5237 first, then the 0.507–0.508 region around MA(5). Those levels should tell me pretty quickly whether this is just cooling off or whether the momentum is actually starting to crack.
Personally, I like the structure.
I just don’t like chasing something that has already moved this far this fast.
The chart has already proven that buyers are here. Now I want to see if they can defend the move after the excitement cools down. $EDGE
