I Came to Gate for an Airdrop, But Found an Entire World Along the Way 💙

Everyone has a different story about how they discovered Gate.

For many people, it may have started with trading. Some joined to buy Bitcoin. Some came for new token listings. Others were already experienced traders looking for more markets and opportunities.

But my story started differently.

I didn't join Gate because I was a trader.

I didn't understand charts.

I didn't know much about Bitcoin.

I had never traded crypto before.

In fact, when I first heard people talking about blockchain, tokens, airdrops, and crypto exchanges, most of those words meant almost nothing to me.

My journey with Gate started with something very simple.

An airdrop.

At that time, some people around me were already involved in crypto. They would talk about joining events, participating in airdrops, and receiving tokens from different projects listed or promoted on Gate.

Honestly, I didn't fully believe them at first.

I was still very new to all of this. Crypto felt like a completely different world, full of complicated words, numbers, charts, and technologies that I couldn't understand.

But one day, I thought:

"If other people can explore this world, maybe I can try too."

That small moment of curiosity changed more than I expected.

I decided to create a Gate account.

And I still remember my first experience.

Opening Gate for the first time felt like walking into a huge city without knowing the roads.

There were so many different sections.

Spot trading.

Futures.

New token listings.

Airdrops.

Events.

Earn products.

Markets.

And many other features that I didn't understand yet.

At first, I was honestly confused.

I didn't know where to click.

I didn't know which token was important.

I didn't know how trading worked.

But instead of leaving, I kept exploring.

One click led to another.

One event introduced me to another project.

One token made me curious about blockchain.

And slowly, without even realizing it, I started learning.

Then came my first real reward.

I participated in an airdrop and received a few dollars worth of tokens.

For an experienced crypto trader, that amount might have seemed very small.

But for me, it was huge.

It was the first time I felt that this strange new world I had entered was actually real.

That small reward gave me something more valuable than money.

It gave me curiosity.

I started asking questions.

What is Bitcoin?

What is blockchain?

Why are there thousands of cryptocurrencies?

How do new projects create tokens?

Why do token prices move?

What is the difference between an exchange and a blockchain?

Every answer created another question.

And slowly, Gate became one of the places where I continued exploring those questions.

One of my most memorable early experiences was receiving around $30 worth of Treat tokens through a Gate event.

Even today, Treat remains special to me.

Not because I made a fortune from it.

Not because it was the biggest reward.

But because it reminds me of the beginning.

It reminds me of the person who joined Gate without understanding crypto and slowly started discovering an entirely new industry.

Then I discovered something else that made my journey even more interesting.

Gate events.

This was one of the things I enjoyed most.

I realized that there was almost always something happening. New projects, new listings, campaigns, community activities, airdrops, and opportunities for users to participate.

One of my favorite features was CandyDrop.

I remember receiving around $21 from one project through CandyDrop.

Today, I may not even remember the name of that project.

But I still remember how exciting it felt.

For someone who started with almost zero crypto knowledge, every small reward felt like a personal achievement.

Every event gave me another reason to explore.

Every new project taught me something new.

And over time, I started realizing something important.

Gate was becoming much more than the place where I had originally joined for an airdrop.

Then came another turning point in my journey.

Gate Square.

One day, while exploring Gate, I noticed that people were writing.

They were sharing market opinions.

Crypto news.

Trading experiences.

Token analysis.

Personal stories.

And conversations with people from different parts of the world.

I spent time reading what others were posting.

And then I had a thought.

"Maybe I can write too."

So I started.

At first, I had no idea whether anyone would read my posts.

I wasn't a professional analyst.

I wasn't an expert trader.

I was simply someone who enjoyed learning about crypto and sharing what I discovered.

But I kept writing.

Slowly, Gate Square became one of my favorite parts of the entire Gate ecosystem.

It gave me a place to express my thoughts.

To learn from other people.

To follow market discussions.

To discover new topics.

And most importantly, to become part of a community.

Over time, I started seeing that Gate had much more to offer than I originally imagined.

Grow Points.

Gate Square.

Gate Live.

CandyDrop.

Launchpool.

Airdrops.

Community campaigns.

New token opportunities.

Learning resources.

And many other features that I am still exploring today.

Gate Live is another feature that I find especially interesting. Live crypto content and real-time discussions have become increasingly popular, and I still feel that there is so much more for me to discover there.

That is probably one of the most interesting parts of my Gate journey.

Even after all this time, I still find something new.

I joined Gate thinking I would only participate in an airdrop.

But that one decision introduced me to crypto, blockchain, tokens, communities, content creation, and a completely new way of learning.

And today, seeing Gate officially surpass 60 million users worldwide makes me stop and think about how much both the platform and the community have grown.

60 million users.

That is an incredible number.

But when I read more about this milestone, I realized that the growth is about much more than just a number.

Today, Gate supports more than 5,000 digital assets and has expanded into a much larger multi-asset ecosystem that also includes stocks and ETFs.

The platform is no longer focused only on crypto trading. Gate is building services across investing, trading, wealth management, payments, wallets, Web3, AI, and other areas of digital finance.

And that is something interesting to witness as someone who joined when I barely understood what crypto was.

The platform I originally downloaded just to participate in an airdrop has continued to grow into something much bigger.

Gate has also continued expanding its global ecosystem and financial services.

From crypto to traditional assets.

From trading to payments.

From Web3 to AI.

From individual users to a global community of more than 60 million people.

And behind every one of those users is probably a different story.

Some people joined to trade.

Some joined to invest.

Some came for Bitcoin.

Some came for a new token.

Some came for a community.

And my story?

I came for an airdrop.

I stayed for everything else.

I also appreciate that as Gate continues to grow, it continues focusing on the things that matter for a global platform, including technology, security, transparency, product development, and a better overall experience for users.

Recently, Gate reported total reserves of more than $8 billion and a reserve ratio above 100%, another reminder of how much the platform has developed over the years.

But numbers alone cannot describe a journey.

Because behind the statistics are people.

Behind 60 million users are 60 million different experiences.

And this is mine.

I remember being the person who opened Gate and didn't understand what most of the features meant.

I remember receiving my first small crypto reward and feeling excited.

I remember discovering new tokens.

I remember participating in events.

I remember finding CandyDrop.

I remember discovering Gate Square.

And I remember thinking that maybe I could become a content creator too.

Today, I am still here.

Still learning.

Still writing.

Still participating in campaigns.

Still following Gate across different social platforms.

Still discovering new projects.

And still finding new features that I haven't fully explored yet.

That is why the 60 million milestone feels personal to me.

Because I have watched my own journey change alongside Gate's growth.

I was not a trader when I joined.

I was a complete beginner.

I didn't come with experience.

I came with curiosity.

And sometimes, curiosity is all you need to start something new.

If someone had told the younger version of me that one day I would be writing about crypto, following blockchain projects, participating in global campaigns, creating content, and being part of a community with more than 60 million users, I probably wouldn't have believed it.

But here we are.

My journey started with an airdrop.

Then came my first reward.

Then my first crypto lessons.

Then new projects.

Then events.

Then Gate Square.

Then content creation.

And now, I am celebrating one of the biggest milestones in Gate's history.

60 million users worldwide. 🌍

Congratulations to the entire Gate team and the global Gate community.

Reaching 60 million users is not just a milestone for an exchange.

It represents millions of people discovering new opportunities, learning about digital assets, connecting with communities, and becoming part of a rapidly changing financial world.

For me, Gate will always be connected to the beginning of my crypto journey.

Not because I made my first big trade there.

But because I took my first step into this world there.

I came to Gate for an airdrop.

I found a community.

I came knowing almost nothing.

I found a world full of things to learn.

I started as a curious beginner.

And I am still growing.

60 million users later, my story is still being written.

Here's to Gate.

Here's to the community.

And here's to the next chapter of this journey. 💙🚀

An $800 million reserve + a 100% reserve ratio—during a bear market, these figures are more reassuring than any sweet words.

From not understanding the difference between spot and futures to now daring to go all-in with 10x leverage, only three liquidations stood in between.

It’s estimated that half of the 60M users were converted from airdrop hunters. Gate’s conversion funnel is indeed aggressive.

Writing on Gate Square is really addictive. My first article only got 37 views, and now someone is actually asking for an update.

Treat sounds like dog food, and it really did feed me—$21 may not be much, but the sense of occasion is off the charts.

I was also lured in by an airdrop, and now I watch the candlestick charts until 3 a.m. every day. Gate, how are you going to repay me for the sleep you owe me?
