#Gate用户突破6000万 Eight years, and I’m still with Gate 🫡

I registered my account in 2018 and have used it all the way until now. It’s not that I never wavered, but looking back, I’ve never regretted it.

Here’s how I made it through all these years

When I first entered the market, I was still a complete newbie. I couldn’t even read candlestick charts and learned everything by blindly buying and selling. During the deep bear market at the end of 2018, my account was so deep in the red that I questioned my life choices and almost uninstalled the app and ran—but in the end, I stayed because withdrawals were processed smoothly, and every cent came back to me. I stayed for that one word: “reliable.”

Then, on March 12, 2020, I was jolted awake at 3 a.m. by a sudden plunge. The screen was filled with -50%, and my hands were shaking. Gate held up that night—no lag, no downtime. Whether I cut my losses or bought the dip, I was always in control of my own money. You only understand after experiencing moments like that: whether a platform is stable really can be a matter of life and death.

Later came the 519 crash and the FTX collapse in 2022. Trust in the entire industry crumbled, and many people around me withdrew their coins and fled overnight. I hesitated too, but then I thought about how Gate had remained steady every time over those eight years, so I ultimately chose to stay. As it turned out, I made the right choice.

Why have I stayed for so long?

There’s no point in making it sound mystical, so let’s talk about what really matters:

1. Security. There have been too many extreme market conditions to count over the past eight years, but Gate has never made me panic. When I needed to withdraw, I could withdraw; when something needed to be handled, it was handled efficiently. I feel at ease keeping my money there.
2. Genuine service. Its promotions aren’t gimmicky, its announcements don’t play dumb, and its customer service doesn’t pass the buck. GT can even be used to offset trading fees. That kind of “honesty” is the most valuable thing in this industry.

Watching it grow from a small platform into one with more than 60 million users worldwide today really feels like “watching your own child grow up” 😂

Those 60 million people come from all over the world, speak different languages, and are making the same choice—that in itself is the best recognition of Gate’s eight years.

Lastly, I want to say:

Moving fast is important, but moving steadily is even more important. I hope Gate continues to uphold its security standards, keeps strengthening compliance, and enables more newcomers to enter confidently and choose to stay.

Over the next eight years, I hope 60 million becomes even more—and I’ll still be here, saying: “I’ve always been here.”
