Mars Finance reported that on September 1, a number of Wall Street institutions released their latest ratings in quick succession. Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple, SpaceX, Cisco, Airbnb, Uber, and others received positive evaluations. Baird reiterated its “Outperform” rating on Nvidia, saying the company remains one of its top large-cap picks thanks to its leading market share and continued growth in its inference business; Bank of America reiterated its “Buy” rating on Microsoft and raised its price target from $500 to $600, saying accelerating Azure growth further validates its AI strategy. JPMorgan reiterated its “Overweight” rating on Apple, saying that although global smartphone shipments are expected to decline in 2026, Apple will benefit from its growing share of the high-end device market. Bernstein reiterated its “Outperform” rating on SpaceX, saying that the new launch facilities at Starbase in Louisiana will provide important infrastructure for future Starship launches and the construction of orbital data centers. In addition, Deutsche Bank initiated coverage of Cisco with a “Buy” rating; Rosenblatt initiated coverage of Uber and Airbnb with “Buy” ratings and price targets of $100 and $220, respectively; KeyBanc initiated coverage of eToro with an “Overweight” rating; Piper Sandler upgraded Tempus AI to “Overweight” and raised its price target from $56 to $76; and Evercore ISI upgraded Duolingo to “Outperform.” Other rating actions included UBS downgrading Interactive Brokers from “Buy” to “Neutral”; Bank of America upgrading Timken to “Buy”; Citigroup placing Howmet Aerospace on a positive catalyst watch; and BMO upgrading Park Hotels & Resorts to “Outperform.”

KeyBanc covering eToro is pretty interesting—a collision between a crypto brokerage and a traditional ratings firm. I’ll be watching for how this narrative develops.
