The 5,318 in realized profit has now been completely wiped out. Those holding physical gold don’t really care, but leveraged traders are probably hurting.

Gold hasn't made a new high in these 147 trading days, and the bulls seem a bit tired, but a 15.5% pullback isn't particularly deep for precious metals either. Let's wait and see the Fed's stance.

Could that high in January 2026 be the major top for the next few years? Historically, gold cycles are quite long, so it's really hard to say whether entering now means taking a left-side position or catching a falling knife.
