#WTI原油 President Trump said on August 31 that ExxonMobil would re-enter the Venezuelan market, marking the company’s first major investment in the country since 2007.
The United States and Venezuela announced a major oil agreement involving 17 oil fields, with combined proven reserves of approximately 640 billion to 650 billion barrels, accounting for about one-fifth of Venezuela’s total crude oil reserves. The development rights will last 100 years, and the United States will receive 55% of actual production. Trump said major U.S. energy companies, including Chevron, are competing to participate in Venezuela’s energy projects. ExxonMobil has not yet confirmed its investment plans, but the company sent a technical team to Venezuela in March to assess local oil and gas resources and infrastructure. This week, Chevron, Eni, GE Vernova, and India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) also advanced efforts to reach energy agreements with Venezuela. $XTIUSD
