Gate Event Contracts offer an interesting way to express a short-term market view, with a 1% reward available under the applicable campaign conditions. I see this as an additional incentive, not guaranteed trading profit.

My market view is that the real opportunity is combining short-term participation with stronger long-term product utility.

Gate Card is Gate’s crypto card, and I believe its rewards and benefits could become much more competitive with a theoretical 3x upgrade.

For example, if a hypothetical 1% card reward became 3%, 1,000 USDT of eligible spending could generate 30 USDT instead of 10 USDT. At 5,000 USDT, that becomes 150 USDT instead of 50 USDT.

My analysis: 3x rewards alone would be attractive, but 3x overall utility would be much stronger. Better rewards, higher practical limits, smoother payments and clearer benefits could encourage users to make Gate Card part of their regular spending.

I also think the 1% Event Contract reward shows how incentives can increase engagement, while recurring card benefits could create longer-term user value.

My personal view is cautiously positive: Gate has an opportunity to turn rewards into stronger everyday utility rather than relying only on short-term campaigns.
