Kevin Warsh came in pretty hawkish.



Inflation has cooled a bit, but he made it clear the Fed isn’t convinced the job is done yet. The 2% target is still firm, and if inflation doesn’t keep moving lower, rates could stay restrictive for longer.

At the same time, the economy is holding up well. Spending is healthy, jobs are stable, and business investment is strong.

Feels like the Fed is still in wait-and-see mode, not ready to rush into cuts.
