#CandyDrop1BTCForOldUsers CandyDrop 1 BTC for Existing Users: A Powerful Opportunity for Gate’s Early Community
There is a new opportunity on Gate that immediately caught my attention because it is designed specifically for existing users. The CandyDrop special event is offering a total reward pool of 1 BTC, giving eligible users a chance to share in a Bitcoin reward simply by completing the required futures trading task.
This is not a normal new-user promotion. The campaign is specifically for users who were already registered before August 24, 2026 at 16:00 UTC. The event started on August 25 and runs until September 8, 2026 at 10:00 UTC.
For me, the most interesting part is the simplicity of the basic requirement.
During the campaign, an eligible user who reaches at least 1 USDT in futures trading volume, calculated from opening plus closing trades, receives 1 Candy. That Candy then participates in the distribution of the total 1 BTC reward pool. The maximum reward for one user is 0.001 BTC.
This is where I think users need to understand the difference between the total prize pool and the individual reward.
The campaign has 1 BTC available in total, but that does not mean every participant receives 1 BTC. Rewards are distributed among eligible participants according to the campaign mechanism, and the individual maximum is 0.001 BTC. Therefore, I would treat the 1 BTC headline as the total pool rather than a guaranteed personal payout.
At the time of checking the official CandyDrop page, the campaign showed more than 4,300 participants. The page also displayed an estimated value of approximately 0.0002 BTC for 1 Candy, but this should not be treated as a fixed guaranteed amount because the final distribution depends on the campaign's participation and reward calculation.
My personal view is that this campaign is particularly interesting for long-time Gate users who already planned to use futures trading. The important point is not to create unnecessary trading activity simply because a reward exists. Futures trading carries significant market risk, and a small reward should never become a reason to take an oversized position.
The strongest strategy, in my opinion, is discipline.
If you are already an eligible user and already understand futures trading, the 1 USDT minimum volume requirement is relatively small compared with the scale of the 1 BTC reward pool. But users should remember that futures involve leverage and liquidation risk. A reward opportunity is never more important than protecting trading capital.
Another important step is participation registration.
Users need to click the participation button on the event page, complete the campaign task and complete identity verification where required. According to Gate's official announcement, rewards are expected to be distributed to eligible accounts within 14 business days after the event ends.
There is also an important deadline that older Gate users should not ignore.
The eligibility cutoff is based on registration time. Users must have registered before August 24, 2026 at 16:00 UTC. That means someone creating a new account after the cutoff should not assume that they can enter this particular existing-user campaign. This is specifically structured as a comeback reward for Gate's established community.
I actually like this concept because it gives recognition to users who were already part of the platform before the campaign started.
The timing is also interesting.
The cryptocurrency market has recently shown signs of renewed strength, and Gate launched this campaign around that recovery narrative. A 1 BTC reward pool creates additional attention around the platform while giving existing users a reason to return and interact with the ecosystem.
But my analysis goes beyond the headline.
The real value of an event like this is not simply the amount of Bitcoin being distributed. It is the combination of eligibility, participation requirements, reward mechanics and timing. With the campaign running from August 25 to September 8, eligible users still have a defined window to complete the required activity.
The maximum individual reward of 0.001 BTC is also worth understanding in percentage terms.
Compared with the entire 1 BTC pool, 0.001 BTC represents 0.1% of the total pool. So even reaching the maximum does not mean receiving a large portion of the entire campaign. It is a capped individual allocation designed to spread the reward across participants.
For example, if Bitcoin were trading around $110,000, then 0.001 BTC would have a market value of approximately $110. If BTC were $120,000, the same 0.001 BTC would be worth about $120. If BTC reached $150,000, that maximum allocation would be worth approximately $150.
These calculations are only examples because the actual BTC price can change significantly and the final reward is not guaranteed.
That is why I would focus more on the opportunity structure than on promising a specific dollar amount.
One Candy is earned after reaching the required 1 USDT futures volume. The official campaign page currently displays an estimated 1 Candy value of approximately 0.0002 BTC. If that estimate remained unchanged, five Candies would correspond to roughly 0.001 BTC, which is also the stated individual maximum. However, the displayed estimate can change, so users should always check the live campaign page before making decisions.
There are also strict rules against manipulation.
Gate specifically prohibits creating multiple small accounts, abusive wash trading, self-trading and other forms of cheating. Multiple accounts belonging to the same verified user can be treated as one account, and sub-accounts are not eligible for the campaign. Market makers, companies and institutions are also excluded.
This part is extremely important.
I would never recommend trying to manufacture volume simply to collect rewards. The purpose of a campaign should be to participate within the rules, not to take unnecessary risks or attempt to exploit the system.
My personal opinion is simple: this is a strong opportunity for eligible existing users who already understand the platform and futures trading, but it should be approached with discipline rather than excitement.
A 1 BTC pool sounds huge, and it is. But the smart question is not “How much can I win?” The smart question is “Can I participate within the rules without taking unnecessary risk?”
That mindset makes the difference between intelligent participation and emotional trading.
I also think the campaign demonstrates how exchanges are increasingly using reward programs to bring existing users back into active ecosystems. Instead of focusing only on acquiring new accounts, platforms are also giving older users incentives to return, complete tasks and participate in current market activity.
For Gate users who registered before the eligibility cutoff, this is therefore worth checking.
The campaign is live, the total pool is 1 BTC, the minimum futures trading volume for one Candy is 1 USDT, the individual maximum is 0.001 BTC, and the campaign ends on September 8, 2026 at 10:00 UTC. Rewards are scheduled to be distributed within 14 business days after the campaign ends, subject to the official rules and eligibility requirements.
My final view: the strongest part of this campaign is not the headline alone. It is the fact that an established Gate user can qualify through a very low minimum trading-volume requirement while participating in a 1 BTC reward pool.
But remember: reward first, risk second is the wrong mindset.
Risk management comes first.
If you are eligible, understand the rules, understand futures trading and were already planning to trade, then this CandyDrop deserves attention. Check your eligibility, join the official event, complete the required task carefully and keep your expectations realistic.
The market can move fast. Rewards can change. BTC prices can change. But disciplined participation remains the strongest strategy.
For me, this is more than another promotional campaign. It is a direct recognition of Gate's existing community and a powerful reminder that long-term users should always keep an eye on the opportunities available inside the ecosystem.
