#Gate股票观点挑战 +$MRVL Marvell Technology (MRVL)’s AI chip partnership with Google has indeed generated significant market enthusiasm, but the positive news has already been partially priced in, and the short-term rally faces a risk of correction, while the long-term rally depends on earnings delivery.

I. Market Expectations and Pricing-In: Positive News Has Been Partially Realized, Valuation Is Already High
1. Prices have already largely reflected expectations: MRVL’s share price surged significantly after the partnership announcement, gaining more than 16% this month. The market has already priced in part of the expected earnings growth in advance, and the current valuation is relatively high, limiting the room for a further sharp rise in the short term.
2. Expectations have not yet been fully realized: Google’s $120 billion partnership scale represents a “maximum revenue threshold” rather than “guaranteed minimum orders,” and the vesting of the warrants is tied to Google’s actual purchases and revenue, creating uncertainty. The market is currently trading on expectations for an “AI custom chip platform,” rather than realized earnings, creating a risk that the valuation has run ahead of fundamentals.
II. Whether the AI Chip Rally Can Continue: Depends on Earnings Delivery and Long-Term Performance Conversion
1. Short term (earnings season) faces a test: The after-hours session on August 27 will be MRVL’s earnings validation window. If the earnings report shows that AI ASIC (custom chip) revenue share and growth exceed expectations, and Q3 guidance is strong, the stock will still have upward momentum; if results fall short of expectations or growth slows, high-valued sectors will face correction pressure.
2. Long term (performance conversion) will determine the ultimate trend: Whether the rally can continue depends on whether Google’s orders can be converted into actual revenue, whether Marvell can continue delivering results in AI inference, networking, and storage control, and whether it can successfully convert Google’s “technology certification” into orders from other major customers, such as Amazon, Microsoft, and Meta, to achieve platform expansion.

AI chip sector valuations are relatively high, and market sentiment is susceptible to macro liquidity and earnings delivery. The above analysis is for reference only and does not constitute investment advice. $MRVL
