Analysts argue the extreme price swings are less about the company itself and more about the mechanics of the Shanghai STAR Market . Strict short-selling restrictions and a "pump-and-dump" market dynamic can trap retail investors in a volatile trading environment .

So stay away from newly listed tokens and wait until they stabilize before considering them.

The STAR Market was meant to support hard technology, but if its trading mechanisms are constantly used to play a game of pass-the-parcel, retail investors will always be the ones left footing the bill. Hopefully, regulators will take real action against abnormal volatility instead of relying solely on risk warnings.

It’s not Unitree’s fault; the listing game is simply too wild. Short selling is restricted, hot money can pump it at will, and a little news can send it soaring or crashing. Ordinary people can’t keep up with the pace at all—whoever enters a market like this is in for a rough time.
