NVIDIA’s Q2 numbers are out and the AI infrastructure story just got another strong chapter.
Revenue came in ahead of expectations, EPS beat the street, and the market’s attention immediately shifted to the next phase — the Vera Rubin ramp and whether hyperscaler spending will stay this aggressive into 2027. Data center demand is still the engine. Blackwell continues to ship at high volume, and Rubin is already being positioned as the next big upgrade cycle.
What stands out right now:
Supply is still tighter than demand
Big Tech and AI cloud players keep pouring money into capacity
Gross margins remain healthy
The conversation has moved from “Is the AI boom real?” to “How fast can the next generation of chips actually get deployed?”
For traders this is less about one single earnings print and more about the tone of guidance and the visibility into the next two to three quarters. NVIDIA remains the clearest pure-play on the AI buildout, and the semiconductor space is still the main macro theme in the market.
I’m watching the post-earnings price action closely — especially any comments on margins, supply chain progress, and the pace of Rubin adoption. The long-term setup still looks solid, but short-term volatility around these prints is always high.
What’s your read after the numbers? Still bullish on the AI trade or starting to get more selective?
