$NEAR is sitting at a critical decision zone.

Price has been printing lower highs since the rejection near $2.10–$2.15, while momentum continues to weaken.

Now testing $1.83–$1.86 demand.

Key levels:
• Resistance: $1.96–$2.00
• Supply: $2.04–$2.15
• Demand: $1.83–$1.86
• Major demand: $1.78–$1.81

A clean reclaim of $1.96 would shift momentum back toward $2.00+.

Lose $1.83, and the $1.80 area becomes the next major test.

This is where structure matters more than prediction.

If it can hold around 1.80 below, it could still form a decent double-bottom pattern; the concern is that a slow decline could break support and accelerate.

What I fear most is a false breakout at this level, with repeated wicks shaking people out—no matter how good the structure is, it won’t withstand that kind of whipsaw.

The continued move lower from 2.10 shows that the bulls are not serious at all, so it is a bit early to talk about stabilization.

That 15-minute lower wick just now looked pretty decent, but if it still can’t reclaim 1.96 tomorrow, it was purely a bull trap.

To be honest, at a key level like this, it’s better to wait for the direction to emerge before getting in; trying to call the bottom too early can easily get you hurt.

There are probably plenty of trapped positions in the 2.04–2.15 resistance zone, right? If it really rebounds there, I reckon many people’s first instinct will be to sell.
