$5B USDC Minted on Solana

Circle reportedly minted around $5 billion USDC on Solana over the past week.
That’s a notable liquidity signal, but I wouldn’t automatically call it bullish for crypto prices.
New USDC supply means more stablecoin liquidity is available on-chain. The bigger question is where that liquidity actually goes trading, DeFi, payments, or simply staying idle.
For me, the mint is worth watching, but USDC issuance alone doesn’t guarantee a market rally.
The next signal is how this liquidity gets deployed.

Don’t rush to call it a return of the bull market—money printing doesn’t equal a price pump. If all that money just sits idle on balance sheets, it’s not much different from not printing it at all. Keep a close eye on on-chain activity before saying more.

5 billion USDC has flowed into Solana. The pool has liquidity now, but where it flows is what matters. If it just sits idle, the price will remain the same.

Liquidity coming in is a good thing, but whether SOL can take off on this wave depends on whether the funds go into degen perpetuals or actually enter DeFi to put in the work. I’ll grab a small stool and watch the show for now.
