Roma are my pick because of the home advantage, stronger defensive structure and the overall balance of their squad.

With Gian Piero Gasperini beginning a new chapter in Rome, I expect Roma to play with intensity and look to control the game through possession, pressing and quick transitions.

The Olimpico could also play a major role. Roma should have the confidence to start aggressively, while Fiorentina may initially focus on staying compact and limiting space around their penalty area.

🧠 MY EXPECTED GAME SCRIPT

I expect Roma to create the better chances early.

If Roma score first, Fiorentina will have to open up and take more risks. That could create additional space for Roma's attacking players, especially with Paulo Dybala capable of producing moments of quality in the final third.

However, I don't expect a crazy high-scoring match.

My preferred scenario is:

Roma control possession → create pressure → score first → manage the game → add a second goal.
