Gate Launches Japanese Stock Trading
Gate has officially launched Japanese stock trading, expanding its multi-asset investment ecosystem and giving users direct access to selected companies listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE). The initial launch covers approximately 300 Japanese stocks, including major names such as Toyota Motor, Sony Group, SoftBank Group, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Nintendo, and Tokyo Electron.
A key feature is the ability to trade these Japanese stocks using USDT, meaning users do not need to separately convert funds into Japanese yen or open a traditional Japanese brokerage account through the Gate service. The Japanese stock service is currently available on Gate Web, with mobile-app availability expected to follow.
The service integrates with Gate’s existing stock infrastructure, allowing users to view market data, buy and sell shares, manage positions, and review trading history through a unified stock account. Japanese market trading hours are 09:00–11:30 and 12:30–15:25 Japan time.
The launch strengthens Gate’s strategy of connecting crypto users with traditional financial markets. With U.S., Hong Kong, Korean, and now Japanese stocks, Gate says its broader platform offers access to more than 12,800 stocks and ETFs, highlighting its push toward a global, multi-asset trading environment.
