You can short vaccine stocks without buying the underlying shares, which is quite convenient, but using too much leverage can easily wipe you out overnight. Watch your position size.

Gate turning a biotech leader into a perpetual contract has indeed broadened the ways retail investors can trade. Beyond vaccines, mRNA technology also has considerable potential in oncology and rare diseases, but even the slightest change in FDA approvals or healthcare insurance policies can send the stock on a roller-coaster ride. If you want to trade this kind of contract, it is recommended to study MRNA’s pipeline carefully before deciding on the leverage.

Trading MRNA with 20x leverage is thrilling, but biotech volatility is extremely fierce—beware liquidation.

20x leverage on US stocks that have news every day is basically a meat grinder; a 10% jump on earnings day is perfectly normal. If you really want to play, use 5x at most, or hedge with spot holdings—don’t fight the funding rate.
