I’m not completely confident about this one, but I’m slightly leaning towards Lazio.

Bologna are playing at home, so I think they can definitely make this difficult for Lazio. But if we look at the quality in Lazio’s attack, players like Mattia Zaccagni and Boulaye Dia can cause problems, especially if they get space around the Bologna defence.

Davide Frattesi is another player I’m interested in watching. He could make his full Lazio debut, and I think his energy in midfield could be important.

Lazio do have some players missing, so I wouldn’t call this a safe prediction at all. Bologna have enough quality to score, but I still think Lazio have slightly more attacking threat.

My prediction: Bologna 1-2 Lazio.

This is probably the most difficult of my three picks. What’s your prediction?

Dia has been playing smart this season and is particularly useful on the counterattack. However, Bologna are no pushovers either, so in the end I’ll still follow you and back Lazio to win away.

Whenever a match is called the hardest, it usually produces an upset. I’m kind of tempted to bet against Bologna, but Lazio’s attack really is half a tier better. I’m torn. How about a 2–2 draw?

When Zaccagni is in good form, he can certainly disrupt a defense on his own, but if Bologna compresses the space, Lazio may not have an easy time, so I lean toward the home team with the handicap.

Rationally speaking, Bologna’s chances of avoiding defeat are fairly high: they have a solid home defense, while Lazio are short-handed. I’d rather take a chance on a draw, with a predicted score of 1-1.

I also think this is the hardest match to predict. Bologna will definitely fight hard at home, but Lazio have greater individual quality in attack. A 1–2 scoreline seems reasonable—I’m going with you.

If Frattesi starts, he’ll definitely be worth watching—his forward runs can cause Bologna’s midfield plenty of trouble. I’m taking a small stake on Lazio in this match.

Haha, once again it’s the hardest of the three-way picks. Bologna are very tough at home, so I’m not too confident backing Lazio on the handicap—at most, I’d look at a double chance on a draw or Lazio win.

Lazio winning away is indeed a bit risky—Bologna are tough to beat at home, but with Zaccagni and Dia’s attacking threat, I favor Lazio to take all three points.
