⚡ TSLA Bull Run Activated: Analyzing the +5% Surge and Robotaxi Catalyst! ⚡

Tesla (TSLA) is putting on a show today, surging +5.09% to trade at $362.88. After a period of heavy consolidation and downward pressure, the bulls are decisively back in control. Let's break down the technical charts and the massive fundamental news driving this momentum.

📈 Technical Analysis: The Reversal is Confirmed
Looking at the daily timeframe in the chart Screenshot, we can see a textbook V-shaped recovery unfolding:

The Bottom is In: After hitting a severe local low of $297.38, TSLA caught a massive bid and has aggressively pivoted upwards.

Moving Average Breakout: The price has powerfully broken above the short-term moving averages. With the price now well above the MA5 ($347.08), MA10 ($340.88), and MA30 ($342.50), the short-term trend has officially flipped bullish.

MACD Shift: The daily MACD histogram is showing a strong recovery, with the DIF line curling up rapidly from deep negative territory.

Zooming into the intraday price action on the 4-hour chart referenced in screenshot ,the strength is undeniable:

Bullish Alignment: The moving averages are fanning out perfectly. The MA5 ($353.04) is leading the charge above the MA10 and MA30, creating a strong support floor for intraday pullbacks.

Strong MACD: The MACD line (6.28) is cleanly above the signal line (DEA: 3.35), confirming sustained buying pressure.

Next Targets: With the current trajectory, bulls will likely be eyeing the previous resistance zones, with the $453.40 local high acting as a longer-term magnet if the broader market holds up.

🚖 Fundamental Catalyst: Vegas Robotaxis!
Technical setups need fuel, and TSLA just got a premium catalyst. As seen in the news ticker on Screenshot, the headline reads: "Tesla Approved to Deploy 5,000 Robotaxis in Las Veg..."

This is a monumental regulatory win for Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) and AI ambitions. Moving from isolated testing to deploying 5,000 commercial units in a high-density market like Las Vegas fundamentally validates Tesla's transition from a traditional automaker to a scalable autonomous transport service. The market is pricing in this future revenue stream today.

💡 The Verdict
The confluence of a technical bottoming formation at $297.38 and a game-changing fundamental catalyst has awakened TSLA. While traders should always watch for profit-taking after a 5% daily move, the momentum suggests this breakout has real legs.

From a fundamental perspective, 5,000 Robotaxis in Vegas is indeed a milestone, but don’t forget that FSD regulation in California is still facing plenty of controversy. The technicals provided a buying opportunity, while the news provided a catalyst; the two coinciding are the reason for today’s surge. The question is, do you dare to take a heavy position at 362 and hold through the weekend? I plan to follow with a small position, targeting 400.

Technically, the V-shaped reversal, combined with approval for 5,000 robotaxis in Las Vegas, makes this narrative quite complete. However, it has already risen more than 20% from 297 to 362, so chasing it in the short term offers limited value. Wait for a pullback to the moving averages before taking another look.

This rally does look pretty strong, but chasing after a 5% move still feels a bit nerve-racking.

To be honest, this V-shaped reversal was explained very well, but I’m more concerned about when exactly the 5,000 robotaxis can begin operating and what the average cost per trip will be. Tesla’s current valuation has already priced in part of the autonomous driving revenue expected over the next ten years. If the subsequent rollout falls short of expectations, the pullback could also be significant. Personally, I won’t chase it this week; I’ll wait and see whether it can stabilize around 400 with increased volume. What do you all think?
