Big week for markets.

This week brings several key US economic updates, including Consumer Confidence, Q2 GDP, PCE inflation data and Michigan sentiment.
But all eyes may be on Nvidia ($NVDA) earnings on Wednesday.
The combination of inflation data and Big Tech results could influence market sentiment and risk appetite.
For me, the key is simple: watch the data, then watch the market reaction.

The most interesting thing is actually Gate’s $820 million in reserves. Combined with BTC’s surge, this shows that funds are indeed entering the market. But if Nvidia’s earnings fall short of expectations, a pullback in risk appetite will also drag crypto down. The data is merely the trigger; the reaction is what matters.

Rather than looking at the data, look at NVDA—the earnings report speaks for itself.

No matter how much data there is, it still has to heed Nvidia’s lead; volatility won’t be low this week.

Inflation data is already fully priced in; the real bomb is Jensen Huang’s earnings report on Wednesday. If the AI narrative fails to hold, the broader market may take a serious hit.

CPI hasn’t even been released yet, and people are already getting hyped? BTC rising 20% in three days is a bit excessive—watch out for a pullback on Friday. Better to just focus on the earnings reports.

Every data week like this gets everyone on edge, but frankly, the market priced it in long ago. Unless PCE and GDP deliver a major surprise, they’re just playing supporting roles for Nvidia. I actually think BTC’s 20% surge this time has been a bit too aggressive—hopefully good news doesn’t turn into bad news once it’s fully priced in.
