$AVGO After-Hours Update 📊

Broadcom is showing some solid strength as the market moves into after-hours trading.

The stock closed at $368.45, up 1.15% on the day. After-hours, it edged higher to $369.00 (+0.14%).

A few numbers that caught my attention:

- Day High: $375.13
- Day Low: $365.08
- Market Cap: ~$1.75T
- P/E (TTM): 61.31
- Earnings: September 2, 2026

The chart also shows a sharp intraday recovery after the dip toward $366.55, with buyers pushing price back toward the $369 area.

For me, the key question is whether AVGO can maintain this momentum and challenge the recent highs again.

Are you bullish or bearish on $AVGO going into earnings? 👀

Is a 0.14% after-hours gain really worth calling a rise? You might as well go to bed.

Technically, it looks like the decline may be stopping, but without supporting volume, it means nothing. Let’s wait until trading volume picks up.

The market maker really knows how to play it: first dumping it to 366.55 to scare off weak hands, then pushing it back to 369—just in time to unload as you chase in.

Same question: do you think we should buy before or after the earnings report? I got burned badly betting on the earnings last time, so I’m trying to be smarter this time.

Post-market, $369 appears to be facing some resistance, with considerable overhead supply from $370–$375. Those taking short-term long positions should set stop-losses and avoid trying to catch a falling knife bare-handed.

They won’t release earnings until September? Then macro data will definitely keep rattling the market during these intervening months. Better to focus on swing trades.

Anyway, I’m not touching my long-term positions, and I’m ignoring this kind of short-term volatility. There’s still time to add to my position before the earnings report.

Put it this way: The market now sees AVGO as a pick-and-shovel provider for AI, and the logic makes sense, but its price has already priced in 2027. I wouldn’t chase it, but I wouldn’t short it either—after all, market leaders command a premium.
