$ZEC is holding around $829 after briefly pushing above $880.

But the bigger story isn’t just the ETF narrative.

Ironwood has now absorbed roughly 3.6M ZEC, while only around 530K ZEC remains in the sealed Orchard pool. More than 85% of the Orchard supply has migrated through a public turnstile, making previously shielded supply increasingly verifiable without exposing individual users.

That matters because Zcash is being reevaluated on more than privacy alone. With Grayscale continuing to update its ETF filing, institutional access and stronger supply verification are becoming part of the same narrative.

For me, that’s the deeper catalyst behind this move.

ETF interest can bring the capital.
Ironwood can strengthen the trust.

Now I’m watching whether $ZEC can reclaim and hold the $880 area.

Institutions are making transparency their selling point—the narrative has indeed changed this time.

Honestly, Zcash has been consistently undervalued over the past two years. Everyone has focused only on privacy while overlooking that it was actually one of the earliest projects to implement ZK proofs. The migration volume on Ironwood now shows that holders are willing to cooperate with compliance, and with Grayscale continuing to make moves, if $880 holds, the next leg of the market could look very different. Personally, I’ll be watching to see whether the pullback can hold $800.

Price is secondary; the key point is that 85% of Orchard goes through public turnstiles. The biggest criticism of privacy coins in the past was that their supply could not be verified. Ironwood has effectively created an audit trail, which is exactly what ETFs need.
