$XRP5L is down 5.07%, but this product should not be treated like normal spot XRP.

It is a leveraged token designed to amplify XRP’s daily movement. That also means losses, rebalancing and volatility decay can affect its value over time.

Before trading XRP5L, watch:

→ The direction of XRP itself
→ Daily rebalancing risk
→ Sudden volatility
→ How long you plan to hold

Leveraged tokens may work for short-term directional trades, but they can behave poorly during choppy markets.

Understand the product before focusing on the price.

A 5% drop is actually not too bad, but leveraged tokens undergo daily rebalancing and suffer from volatility decay, so holding them without action may gradually erode your position. Think carefully before trading them short term.

I’ve been burned by leveraged tokens, especially those with daily drawdowns. I thought I was buying the dip, but the more they fell, the less I held. When the direction is right, the gains are amplified; when it’s wrong, the losses come just as fast. They’ll keep punishing you back and forth in a choppy market. So don’t just watch the price—understand the rebalancing mechanism first, then decide how long to hold.

Leveraged tokens are not spot assets—don’t just look at the percentage decline.
