I’m watching $BTC here.

Price got rejected from the $77.5K area and since then the 15m structure has been making lower highs. Right now BTC is sitting around $76.98K, so I’m watching whether sellers keep control below $77.1K.

Entry: $76,950–$77,100
TP1: $76,740
TP2: $76,530
TP3: $76,430
SL: Above $77,350

For me, the setup stays bearish while BTC struggles below $77.1K. If buyers reclaim that area with strength, I’d drop the short idea and wait.

Short-term support is around 76.9K; there’s room to move only after it breaks, so don’t rush to chase.

The resistance at 77.1K is really strong—I watched for quite a while, and it still hasn't broken above it.

You placed your SL at 77.35K, but what if a wick spikes to 77.38K and then drops back down?

You set three TPs; the last one at 76.43K might as well be replaced with exponential take-profit. I’ve done the statistics: in this kind of 15-minute downward structure, setting the target too close makes it easier to trigger prematurely, after which the price continues to fall, leaving you with regret over missing out. I suggest you place just one TP directly, or use a trailing stop-loss to follow the price—don’t set three price levels.

I noticed you said you would give up shorting once you reclaimed 77.1K. That’s a good idea—discipline is important.

Actually, I’m even more bearish than you—I think this move is heading straight to 75.8K.

I went short like this last time, only to get shaken out by a fake breakdown and then watch it climb back to 77.5K. I also saw consecutive lower highs on the 15-minute chart and thought it was a sure thing, but one big bullish candle blew up the shorts. Honestly, the one thing this market never runs out of is surprises. So at your current position, it’s best to wait and see whether 76.9K can hold sideways—don’t rush into a trade.

15-minute structures are all noise; at minimum, look at the 1-hour timeframe, otherwise you can easily get swept. I used to be like that too—seeing lower highs on the 5-minute and 15-minute charts and jumping in, only to get stopped out by a reversal wick seven times out of ten, eventually losing all my funds. Now I look at the 4-hour chart, confirm the trend before acting, and only trade breakouts of top and bottom formations. If you had placed this trade on the 1-hour chart, it might not have given you an entry opportunity below 77.1K at all.

Could 76.43K be just the beginning, with a massive crash still ahead?
