Earlier during a livestream, I discussed the differences between Ethereum and Bitcoin in terms of their daily-chart trend structures
Bitcoin's daily chart has fallen in three segments (purple),
whereas Ethereum, strictly speaking according to the standard definition, has only formed one segment, or merely a 4-hour downtrend type
This means that Ethereum's recent rebound has the same role within the weekly structure as Bitcoin's rebound from 60,000 to 82,850
The logic behind Bitcoin's current rise is a segment-to-segment divergence on the daily chart, which can also be understood as a quasi-divergence, forming a daily-chart rebound
Ethereum, by contrast, has merely formed a same-level reversal through a First Buy Point within the previous 4-hour trend type
So although both the big brother and the second brother are rising in price, their significance is completely different
It is even less the case that Ethereum's so-called value discovery will lead a new bull market; this view is pure nonsense, seeing only the surface without understanding what lies beneath $BTC $ETH
