$BTC Weekend Setup: High-Level Consolidation, Stay Patient

BTC is holding near the highs after a strong multi-day rally.

Price pushed up nearly 6,500 points yesterday, with BTC gaining 4,000+ points for three consecutive days. The market is heating up again, liquidity is returning, and attention is flowing back into crypto.

Now the key levels:

• $78K — current high-range consolidation
• $77.7K — important pivot zone
• $76.5K — short-term support from the recent pullback

On the 1H chart, there are signs of price/volume divergence, so I’m not chasing the move here.

The trend is bullish, but weekend liquidity can be thin.

My approach:
→ Prefer pullback entries over chasing
→ Avoid blindly shorting a strong trend
→ Don’t FOMO into green candles
→ Keep position size under control

Crypto doesn’t run out of opportunities.

It’s usually patience and capital management that make the difference.

I really like this clear-headed approach—don’t chase highs or panic. 👍

If the 76.5 support holds, it’s an entry point. The volume-price divergence is indeed something to be cautious about. Don’t take a heavy position over the weekend; I’ll follow your example and wait patiently.

Weekend liquidity is already thin, so let’s wait for the U.S. stock market to open and see the direction. The current trend is definitely bullish, but chasing the price higher could easily get you dumped on by whales. Better to miss an opportunity than make a mistake. Your thinking is the same as mine: buy in batches on pullbacks, set your stop-loss properly, and take it slow.

I totally agree. The biggest danger in this market is FOMO—I almost chased the top at $78K yesterday, but seeing your analysis at this level helped me calm down. Proper fund management is the key to surviving; with your position size under control, there will be plenty of opportunities. Thanks for sharing.

Even if it rises 5,000 points, don’t go all-in; going long on the pullback at 76.5 would be more comfortable.

It has risen by more than 4,000 points for three consecutive days. The strength is undeniable, but the volume-price divergence on the 1-hour chart is a timely warning. I’m also waiting for a pullback to go long. You’re right, bro.

The sideways consolidation at the highs is nerve-racking, but your marked 77.7 pivot is very clear: exit if it breaks down; if not, hold. Better than making random moves.

Weekend liquidity is poor, so don’t chase the rally—wait for a pullback before reassessing for a safer approach.
