BTC Breaks Through $77k: $800 Million in Liquidations Is Not “An Insane Market”—Leverage Is Paying Tuition Again!

BTC has broken through $77k, and market sentiment has clearly heated up. More importantly, as the price surged rapidly, a large number of highly leveraged short positions were forced to exit. When BTC recently broke through $70k, nearly $3 billion in liquidations occurred across the market, with shorts accounting for more than 90%, showing that this rally clearly had the characteristics of a short squeeze.

So if you see “$800 million in liquidations in 24 hours,” don’t immediately think, “Oh no, is the market about to collapse?” The direction of the liquidations is extremely important. During the rise, a large number of shorts were liquidated, essentially meaning selling pressure was forcibly absorbed while new buying continued to push the price higher.

Technically speaking, $77k has become a short-term battleground between bulls and bears. If BTC can hold above $77k, the next step will naturally be a challenge of $78k and potentially higher levels; but if it quickly falls back to $74k–$75k after the surge, beware of a “failed breakout.”

My trading approach is: don’t chase the first big green candle; wait for a pullback confirmation.

If $77k turns from resistance into support, the bullish structure will look even stronger; if it breaks down, reduce leverage and position size first.

The most exciting part of this rally is not how much BTC has risen, but that the shorts have already been taught a lesson by the market.

In one sentence:

BTC is responsible for rising, shorts are responsible for getting liquidated, and spectators are responsible for asking: “Can I still get on board?”

The answer is that you can watch, but don’t use your entire position to buy a ticket. After all, the crypto train moves very fast, so you’d better bring your own brakes. #BTC突破$77000
