If I could choose only one, I’d go with Toyota. The reasons are simple: it’s the global automotive leader, has deep barriers to entry in hybrid technology, benefits directly in terms of overseas profits from a weaker yen, and offers stable dividends. As for timing, Japanese stocks have just opened for trading, so liquidity may not yet be sufficient. I recommend testing the waters with a small position first and increasing it once trading volume and spreads stabilize—don’t go all in right away.

If we’re talking stability, Sony is definitely the choice. Its content ecosystem and hardware are both solid, but with the yen weak and Japanese stocks having already rallied, be careful about chasing the highs. I actually think it may be worth building a position gradually.

Nintendo, with both nostalgia and games on point.
