Are memory chips going crazy again? This time, it’s SNDK in the spotlight!

If I had to name one sector in the AI industry chain that is most easily underestimated, memory chips would be on my watchlist. AI servers are not just about GPUs—storage components such as HBM, NAND, and SSDs are also infrastructure. The core logic behind SNDK is that demand for storage is being reignited by AI servers.
In the past, the market’s impression of the memory industry was simple: a cyclical sector, price wars, rising during upcycles and falling during downturns. But the AI era is changing this playbook. As AI data centers continue to expand, data throughput and storage capacity keep increasing, making high-performance storage increasingly important.
So my view on SNDK is: it has upside flexibility in the short to medium term, but the industry cycle must be monitored over the long term.
Its biggest advantage lies in the incremental demand brought by AI infrastructure, but its biggest risk is also clear—the memory industry remains highly cyclical. When prices rise, manufacturers often expand capital expenditures; as supply gradually increases, price pressure may emerge again. The most classic saying in this industry is: when everyone is making money together, preparations for the next capacity battle have often already begun.
In terms of trading strategy, I lean more toward swing trading + trend following rather than blindly holding for the long term. The key indicators to watch are NAND prices, enterprise SSD demand, AI data center capital expenditures, and changes in the company’s gross margin. If the fundamentals continue to improve, positions can be held along the trend; if the stock price surges continuously in the short term, investors should beware of profit-taking. #Gate股票观点挑战 + SNDK
If a significant pullback occurs due to industry sentiment while storage prices and demand trends remain upward, I would instead be willing to study it again.
My view is: SNDK is worth watching, but it is not an AI stock to “buy with your eyes closed.” It is a high-beta play that requires monitoring the cycle, prices, and supply-demand dynamics.
In one sentence: AI creates the data, GPUs process the data, while memory chips tell the data, “Don’t run around—stay right here.”
The more AI consumes storage, the more this story is worth continuing to watch.
