South Korea’s August exports surged 56%, with chips accounting for half.

Nearly doubled to $26 billion. I don’t understand this figure, but I’m deeply shocked.
How strong is global demand for AI computing power? South Korea’s chip exports tell you the answer.
Exports to China also doubled—who’s talking about decoupling? Do you have any semiconductor exposure? #Gate股票观点挑战 $SKHYV

I didn’t hold onto my semiconductor position, and seeing this data hurts even more. AI demand isn’t a bubble—it’s a silicon-based boom built with real money.

I used to see export figures as a macro indicator, but now that I’m looking at chip exports, I realize they’re the thermometer for the AI industry’s health. The doubling of exports to China shows that global supply chains simply cannot do without China’s assembly capacity and demand—the decoupling narrative can take a rest. As for my position, I’m choosing to dollar-cost average with a small allocation; if you’re too afraid of high prices and too scared to lose, all you can do is stare helplessly.

With chips accounting for half of exports, this is hardly export data—it’s clearly a health check on the AI arms race.

$26 billion—the bigger the number, the more numb we become, but the direction is crystal clear: computing power is the oil of the new era, and chips are the pipelines.

Exports to China have doubled, and you’re still talking about decoupling? Capital voting with its feet is the most honest. But for those without semiconductor positions, should they chase the rally now or wait for a pullback? Opportunities and risks may coexist, so weigh it carefully.
