$MRNA ‌Down 20% – Is This a Buying Opportunity?"

$MRNA is down 20% today to $128.61, with a high of $155.00 and low of $128.61. Moderna is getting crushed after a rough earnings report.

My Analysis:

· Support: $128.61 (today's low) — needs to hold
· Resistance: $155.00 (today's high) — if it breaks, $160 is next
· MA5: $134.55, MA10: $133.14 — price is below both, bearish
· MA30: $141.47 — price is well below, strong bearish signal
· MACD: Negative at -0.17 — bearish momentum

My Take:
Moderna is oversold, but the trend is down. I'm waiting for a bounce above $135 before buying. If it breaks $128, I'll stay away.

The earnings report blew up like this and you’re still asking whether to buy? I’m getting out first—I’ll come back once it stabilizes.

This one was dumped from 155 to 128, down nearly 20%. The technicals have all broken down, but would you dare say there’s no opportunity? I think an oversold rebound could be worth trying, but make sure to set your stop-loss properly.

All moving averages are in a bearish alignment, and MACD is still negative, with the trend clearly pointing downward. How is bottom-fishing any different from catching a falling knife at this point? Better to wait for a right-side signal.

Everyone says Moderna has been beaten down badly, but pharmaceutical stocks are inherently volatile. If you have spare cash, taking a small position to bet on a rebound isn’t out of the question.

128 is a pretty key level—if it breaks, don’t stubbornly hold on. I’m going to wait and see, at least until it gets back above 135 before making a move.

Don’t blindly catch falling knives in the short term; first see whether 128 can hold, then decide.
