The best thing about copy trading is not only looking at a trader’s profit, but also learning about their trading style.

When do they enter a trade? How do they read the market condition? How do they manage risk? And when do they decide to close a position?

I think these things can teach us a lot. Profit is important, but consistency and risk management are also a big part of becoming a better trader.

For me, copy trading is not just about copying a trade. It’s also about learning how another trader thinks and improving our own trading skills.

I once followed a high-yield trader who bet heavily on market direction, and I got liquidated following him. Now I check risk management and stop-loss habits first—I only follow traders with low drawdowns.

Indeed, the biggest risk in copy trading is focusing only on profits and not seeing how others control drawdowns.

Many people see copy trading as mindlessly copying someone else’s homework, but entry timing and position management are the real treasures.
