I’m watching $BTC here.

That move from the $64K area to $71K happened fast, and now price is sitting right under the $72K resistance.

After a +10% run, this is not where I’d want to chase. I’m more interested in how BTC reacts around $72K.

Short idea:

Entry: $71,200–$72,000
TP1: $70,000
TP2: $69,500
TP3: $68,943
SL: Above $72,000

If $72K keeps rejecting, a cooldown toward $69K looks possible. But if BTC breaks and holds above $72K, I’d drop the short idea and reassess.

The strategy logic is clear, but there’s one issue: If 72k breaks through, would you immediately reassess and go long instead? Many people get hit on both sides.

There are too many short-term profit-takers, so a pullback to digest them is perfectly normal. But don’t expect a deep decline, as the trend is still upward.

Every time it’s the same: you see a huge pump and try to short the top, only to get liquidated as it keeps going up. Will this time be different?

Chart-watching is secondary; position management is what matters. Good luck.

Isn’t it better to go long around 70k? Why insist on shorting into resistance? The risk-reward ratio is nothing special.

If 72k repeatedly fails to break through, a pullback to 69k is indeed highly likely, but with ETF inflows this strong, don’t short lightly.
