US and Hong Kong stock futures are finally here! Previously, we could only trade crypto futures, but now cross-market hedging is much more convenient. Still, make sure to read the rules carefully first—don’t rush in on impulse.

Is the event threshold high?

Looking at the inflation data from the US, pushing stock futures at this point seems like an attempt to get people to buy the dip.

The activity itself is fine, but if A50, the Hang Seng Index, and the S&P are all lumped together, beginners should stay away, and even experienced traders should take it easy. Especially with retail trading volume in South Korea being so intense, volatility can really get your heart racing.

Singapore and South Korea’s futures trading hours complement those of U.S. stocks perfectly, so those engaged in cross-market arbitrage may want to consider this event.

In any case, remember one thing: don’t get carried away with any activity. Position management comes first. Once you’ve experienced being liquidated due to insufficient margin, you’ll never want to go through it again.

Previously, I used other platforms to trade the Hong Kong stock Mini Hang Seng Index, and the fees were ridiculously high. Let’s see whether this can be cheaper. If the dealing desk and slippage are reasonably well controlled, it could be worth considering for long-term use.

I tried signing up, and the KYC process was quite fast. The supported deposit methods are a bit limited, though—I hope they add direct USDT transfers later.

The promotion is good, but before opening an account, you should still verify the regulatory licenses in these jurisdictions. Otherwise, withdrawals could become a hassle, and it would truly defeat the purpose.
