President Trump says the U.S. is considering buying “sizable” amounts of BTC, moving the conversation beyond simply holding Bitcoin already in government hands.
The U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve was originally built around government-owned, forfeited BTC, with additional acquisition strategies required to be budget-neutral.
If direct government accumulation actually becomes policy, that’s a completely different level of sovereign demand.
