Quantitative Live Trading Diary Day 20 | 2026-08-19 | Week 2 | Today's Equity: $3000

It's been a week since I last updated this. I was actually too lazy to post an update, but I didn't expect anyone to be waiting for it, so I'll write a little. Today's balance is around 3000 USDT, but I didn't actually lose money after running it for a week—I withdrew 100 USDT. Including that 100 USDT, there was still some profit over the 7 days. There wasn't much market movement during these 7 days either. soxl rose for 5 consecutive days and only crashed yesterday. The other two assets are aaoi and cbrs. These two seem to have been added not long ago, so there isn't much profit yet and they need to run for a while first. The strategy is essentially a variation of a grid strategy, but it isn't purely an exchange-native grid; otherwise, I might as well run one directly on the exchange. Grid strategies still need a ranging market to make money. Unlike traditional grids, this strategy is better at resisting one-way moves than ordinary grids, but since it is still a grid strategy, it still needs to wait for a pullback to become profitable. In theory, if the U.S. stock technology sector can produce some more violent choppy action next week, the weekly report for the following week should look better. That's all for this week.
