Gold Analysis | $XAUT ‌ – August 17

Gold has started the week on a stronger note, currently trading in the 4,390–4,400 zone after extending the recovery from last week’s consolidation. Early buyers stepped in with clear momentum, pushing price higher from the previous support base around 4,360–4,375.

The structure looks more constructive now. Price is holding above recent demand and showing willingness to challenge the next resistance cluster. As long as gold stays above the 4,380 area, the short-term bias remains tilted to the upside.

Key levels to watch:

Support zones:
• 4,380 – 4,375 (immediate)
• 4,365 – 4,353 (stronger demand)
• 4,340 (deeper support if selling pressure returns)

Resistance zones:
• 4,400 – 4,405 (first major hurdle)
• 4,415 – 4,420
• 4,430 – 4,440 (next liquidity target)

A clean break and sustained hold above 4,400 would likely open the path toward 4,415 and potentially 4,430. On the flip side, a rejection from the 4,400 area followed by a break below 4,380 could trigger a pullback toward 4,365 or lower.

Overall, the recovery remains intact for now, but gold can still move aggressively in either direction around these levels. Patience and proper risk management remain key let the market confirm the next move rather than forcing entries.
