$ETH Market Outlook

Current Price: $1,880.89

$ETH is holding near a key support zone, with buyers trying to maintain the current momentum.

Support: $1,780.00 – $1,850.00

Resistance: $1,980.00 – $2,120.00

Targets: $1,980.00 → $2,120.00 → $2,300.00

Holding above $1,780.00 keeps the bullish structure healthy. A breakout above $1,980.00 could push price toward $2,120.00 and potentially $2,300.00. If support breaks, a pullback toward $1,680.00 may happen before the next move higher.

The target price looks nice on the chart, but in actual trading, key support/resistance levels are especially prone to fake breakouts. I suggest waiting for confirmation from the closing price and not being fooled by intraday wicks, especially with volatility so low right now.

1980 is the watershed level: a break above it opens up vast upside, while failure to break through means range-bound trading. I’ll place a short order at 1985 to test the waters.

Buy a little at support, cut losses if it breaks down, and add more if it breaks upward—simple and straightforward, but effective.

As a longtime holder who bought in last year and has held until now, all I want to say is that as long as ETH doesn’t break below its weekly uptrend line, these short-term support and resistance levels are just noise. But if you’re trading futures, you really need to keep a close eye on 1780, because a break below it could trigger cascading liquidations, and a plunge to 1680 amid a liquidity vacuum would be perfectly normal. In short, hold spot and keep futures positions light.

Sell if it breaks below 1780; hold if it doesn’t. Don’t overthink it.
