BlockBeats News, Google has released Gemini 3.7 Flash, just three weeks after the previous version, 3.6 Flash. The new model continues to focus primarily on programming and agents and is now available on platforms including the Gemini API, AI Studio, and Antigravity. It has also begun powering Gemini Spark. According to Artificial Analysis, Gemini 3.7’s high-reasoning score reached 56, up 4 points from 3.6 Flash. Meanwhile, Google DeepMind is undergoing a reorganization that may result in one-third of its employees being laid off. The restructuring will focus on streamlining redundant positions that do not align with actual work. Google has no plans to update its Pro model in the short term and will shift more resources toward Flash, which has lower costs and faster iteration.
