Technical Outlook: XRP Consolidates Near Key Support as Bears Retain Control
XRP is trading around $1.045, continuing to consolidate after recovering from the June lows. Price has stabilized near the major demand area around $1.00–$1.02, but the broader trend remains bearish as XRP continues to trade below the 50, 100 and 200 EMA.
The current structure shows a short-term recovery attempt, but buyers still need to reclaim several resistance levels before a meaningful trend reversal can develop.
📈 EMA Structure
20 EMA: $1.0455
50 EMA: $1.0878
100 EMA: $1.1687
200 EMA: $1.3594
XRP is currently trading around the 20 EMA but below the 50 EMA, showing weak and mixed short-term momentum.
The 20 EMA at $1.0455 is the immediate dynamic level, while the 50 EMA at $1.0878 is the first major resistance. Above that, the 100 EMA at $1.1687 and 200 EMA at $1.3594 remain important higher-timeframe barriers.
A sustained reclaim above the 50 and 100 EMA would significantly improve the recovery structure.
📐 Fibonacci & Market Structure
The 0.236 Fibonacci level sits at $1.5656, making it the first major higher-timeframe resistance from the current Fibonacci structure.
Above that:
0.382: $1.9123
0.5: $2.1926
0.618: $2.4728
0.786: $2.8718
1.0: $3.3800
XRP remains far below the 0.236 Fibonacci level, meaning the broader recovery still has significant resistance overhead.
🟢 Bullish Scenario
A clean breakout and daily close above $1.056–$1.088 could open the way toward:
$1.056
$1.062
$1.088 — 50 EMA
$1.126
$1.169 — 100 EMA
$1.179
$1.242
$1.359 — 200 EMA
$1.566 — 0.236 Fibonacci
$1.912 — 0.382 Fibonacci
The $1.056–$1.088 region is particularly important because it contains multiple horizontal resistance levels and the 50 EMA.
If XRP can reclaim $1.169, the recovery structure would become significantly stronger, potentially opening the path toward $1.242 → $1.359.
A sustained reclaim of the 200 EMA at $1.359 would represent a much more significant structural improvement and could eventually bring the $1.566 Fibonacci resistance into focus.
🔴 Bearish Scenario
Immediate support is concentrated around:
$1.045 — 20 EMA / Current price
$1.021
$1.005 — Major Fibonacci support
$1.00 psychological support
XRP is currently holding close to the major demand zone. A loss of $1.021–$1.005 would weaken the current recovery attempt and could expose XRP to renewed selling pressure.
A decisive breakdown below $1.005 would be particularly bearish because this level represents the 0 Fibonacci base on the chart and sits close to the major June low structure.
A sustained breakdown below $1.00 could invalidate much of the current short-term recovery structure and increase the risk of further downside.
🧠 ICT / Market Structure
The chart shows XRP recovering from the June low around $1.00 and attempting to build a short-term base.
The recent price action shows a series of short-term recovery attempts, but the larger structure remains dominated by lower highs and descending resistance.
The chart also shows multiple BOS/MSS and OB zones around the recent consolidation. Buyers have been defending the lower demand area, but every recovery attempt continues to face resistance from the descending trendline and EMA structure.
The key confirmation will be whether XRP can break above $1.056–$1.088 and successfully convert this area into support.
Until then, XRP remains in a broader bearish consolidation phase.
📊 RSI Momentum
RSI (14): 37.37
RSI is currently below the neutral 50 level, indicating that bearish momentum still has the advantage.
The RSI is also approaching the 30 oversold region, but it has not reached an extreme oversold condition yet.
A move back above 40–45 would indicate improving momentum, while a reclaim of 50 would provide stronger confirmation that buyers are gaining control.
A sustained move above 55–60 would provide much stronger confirmation of a broader bullish recovery.
On the other hand, continued weakness below 35 would increase the risk of another test of the $1.00–$1.005 support zone.

📌 Final Outlook
XRP is currently in a bearish consolidation phase, with price trading around the 20 EMA but remaining below the 50, 100 and 200 EMA. RSI at 37.37 also shows that bearish momentum currently has the advantage.
A confirmed breakout above $1.056–$1.088 could target $1.126 → $1.169 → $1.242, while a reclaim of the 200 EMA at $1.359 would significantly strengthen the broader recovery and potentially open the path toward $1.566 and eventually $1.912.
On the downside, holding the $1.021–$1.005 demand zone is critical. A breakdown below $1.005 could bring renewed selling pressure toward the $1.00 psychological support and would weaken the current recovery structure considerably.
Bias: Bearish-to-Neutral below $1.088, with $1.056–$1.088 as the key breakout zone.
