#GateJulyTransparencyReportReleased

One thing I have learned from following the crypto industry is that growth is exciting, but transparent growth is much more meaningful.

That is why Gate’s July Transparency Report caught my attention. When an exchange reaches a certain scale, users naturally want to know more than just trading volume or the number of products available. They want to understand how the platform is growing, what is happening with reserves, and whether the company is continuing to build trust alongside its expansion.

The July report gives a broader picture of Gate’s current momentum. The platform has surpassed 34 million users, showing just how large its global community has become. At the same time, reported derivatives trading volume reached approximately $740 billion, while Gate reported an 11% share of the derivatives market.

Those numbers are certainly impressive, but I think the reserve figures are just as important.

Gate reported more than $10.5 billion in reserves, with an overall reserve ratio of around 126.03%. For users, these kinds of figures provide another data point when evaluating an exchange. In an industry where confidence can change quickly, regular transparency reporting can help people better understand the financial position of the platforms they use.

What I also find interesting is that Gate’s development is not limited to trading. The platform has expanded its ecosystem with 400+ token listings, while continuing to develop products such as Launchpad and Launchpool. This shows how exchanges are increasingly becoming broader crypto ecosystems rather than simply places where people trade assets.

Still, I think it is important not to look at any transparency report as a reason to stop doing your own research. Numbers provide useful information, but they are only part of the picture. Users should continue to understand the risks involved, research individual assets, review platform policies, and make decisions based on their own circumstances.

For me, the biggest takeaway from the July report is the connection between scale and accountability.

Growing to tens of millions of users is a major achievement, but maintaining trust at that scale is an even bigger responsibility. The crypto industry needs platforms that are willing to communicate openly, publish meaningful information, and keep improving transparency as the ecosystem evolves.

Gate’s July numbers show strong momentum. Now the real story will be whether that momentum can continue while maintaining the same focus on transparency, security, and user confidence.

Crypto moves quickly, but sustainable trust takes time.

That is why reports like this matter.
