Just spent a proper look at the new DuskEVM testnet that went live a few days ago and I’m more impressed than I expected.

Being able to deploy with the same Solidity and Hardhat setup everyone already knows, while still getting confidential workflows through Hedger, is a real unlock. Most privacy chains force you into a completely new language or weird custom tooling. Dusk is basically saying “keep the tools you already use, but add reviewable privacy on top.” That combination feels practical for anyone building around regulated assets or tokenized products.

I’ve seen a lot of projects talk about privacy + compliance, but very few actually make it usable for normal EVM developers. The fact that DuskEVM sits on top of their existing stack and still supports selective disclosure is the part that stands out to me.

While scrolling the feed I also noticed QNTX and $APR popping up, but the thing that actually kept my attention this week is how methodically Dusk is shipping the quiet infrastructure layer the part that has to work if institutions are ever going to move real assets onchain. ‌ This doesn’t feel like another narrative cycle. It feels like someone is carefully building the rails that regulated finance actually needs.
