Gate July 2026 Transparency Report: Growth, New Markets and Stronger Financial Infrastructure

Gate’s July 2026 Transparency Report highlights another major step in the platform’s expansion from a crypto-focused exchange toward a broader multi-asset financial ecosystem. July brought strong developments across crypto trading, U.S. stocks and ETFs, Pre-IPOs, event contracts, Launchpool, Gate Card, RWA, Web3 and account yield services.

The biggest headline figures from the report are clear: OpenAI Pre-IPO cumulative subscriptions exceeded $260 million, Gate’s event-contract market share briefly surpassed 36%, SLX Launchpool peak APR exceeded 135%, Gate Card maximum cashback increased to 8%, coverage expanded to 200+ countries and regions, and Gate’s overall reserve ratio reached 117%.

The TradFi expansion is one of the most important parts of the July update. Gate continued developing U.S. stock and ETF trading with zero-fee trading, alongside gStocks, stock copy trading and account yield services. This gives users access to traditional financial markets alongside crypto assets, creating more possibilities for portfolio diversification.

The $260M+ OpenAI Pre-IPO subscription figure is another major milestone. It shows strong demand for private-market opportunities and demonstrates that users are increasingly interested in accessing opportunities beyond publicly traded crypto and stocks. However, subscription value should be viewed as a measure of demand, not as a guaranteed investment return. Pre-IPO investments can involve valuation, liquidity, allocation and holding-period risks.

Gate’s event-contract market share exceeding 36% is also notable. Reaching an all-time high shows strong activity in this alternative market segment. Event contracts allow participants to take positions around defined outcomes, creating a different market experience compared with conventional spot or derivatives trading. Users should always understand settlement rules and potential losses before participating.

Launchpool remained another major attraction. SLX peak APR exceeded 135%, making the campaign highly competitive from a reward perspective. But APR is an annualized figure, so a 135%+ APR does not mean users automatically receive 135% during a short campaign. Actual rewards depend on staking amount, pool participation, campaign duration and reward mechanics, while the market price of the reward token can significantly affect the final value.

The percentage figures are especially important when comparing opportunities: 135%+ peak Launchpool APR, 8% maximum Gate Card cashback, and 117% overall reserve ratio each represent a completely different part of the ecosystem. APR relates to earning potential, cashback relates to payment benefits, and reserves relate to platform transparency and asset coverage. These percentages should therefore never be compared as if they represent the same type of return.

Gate Card also received a meaningful upgrade, with maximum cashback increasing to 8% and availability expanding across 200+ countries and regions. This strengthens the connection between digital assets and real-world payments. The maximum cashback rate should still be checked against the applicable transaction categories, regional availability and program conditions.

The 117% overall reserve ratio is another figure I would watch closely. A reserve ratio above 100% means reported reserves exceed the corresponding user liabilities within the scope of the reporting methodology. This does not remove every form of platform or market risk, but transparent reserve reporting gives users an additional metric for evaluating platform infrastructure.

From a market perspective, July’s report shows that Gate is increasingly competing across multiple financial categories rather than relying only on crypto trading. The ecosystem now covers spot, derivatives, U.S. stocks, ETFs, Pre-IPOs, event contracts, Launchpool, RWA, Web3, yield services and payments.

My trading perspective: I would not chase the highest percentage simply because it looks attractive. For Launchpool, I would monitor APR, staking participation, reward-token price and liquidity. For stocks and ETFs, I would focus on earnings, valuation and macro conditions. For Pre-IPOs, valuation and liquidity would be key. For event contracts, settlement rules and maximum loss would come first. For Gate Card, I would calculate the actual cashback applicable to my transactions.

The July report therefore gives us several important numbers to remember:

$260M+ — cumulative OpenAI Pre-IPO subscriptions
36%+ — peak event-contract market share
135%+ — SLX Launchpool peak APR
8% — maximum Gate Card cashback
200+ — countries and regions covered by Gate Card
117% — overall reserve ratio
0 fee — U.S. stock and ETF trading highlighted in the expansion

For me, the biggest takeaway is not one individual number. It is the direction of the entire ecosystem. Gate is connecting crypto + TradFi + private markets + event contracts + earning products + payments + RWA + Web3 under one platform.

That creates more opportunities, but it also means users need stronger risk management. High APRs are not guaranteed profits, Pre-IPO subscriptions are not the same as liquid public-market investments, event contracts have specific settlement risks, and both crypto and stocks can experience significant price volatility.

My approach is simple: track the actual market price, understand the percentage, check the product rules, control position size and never make a decision based only on a headline number.

Overall, Gate’s July 2026 Transparency Report shows continued expansion in both product depth and market coverage. The combination of $260M+ Pre-IPO demand, 36%+ event-contract market share, 135%+ Launchpool APR, 8% maximum cashback and a 117% reserve ratio makes July an important month for Gate’s broader multi-asset strategy.

The real story is diversification: from crypto trading to stocks, ETFs, private markets, earning products, alternative contracts and everyday payments, Gate is continuing to build a more comprehensive financial ecosystem.
