$SEI 1H Technical Analysis | Relief Bounce or Another Rejection? 📊
$SEI is sitting at an interesting decision point on the 1H timeframe. The broader structure remains bearish, but price is approaching an area where a short-term relief bounce could develop.
The key level I’m watching is 0.04061. Until buyers can decisively reclaim and hold above that previous swing high, I’m treating any upside move as a potential counter-trend bounce rather than a confirmed reversal.
🟢 First scenario: Liquidity sweep and relief bounce
The first area of interest is the 0.03982 demand zone.
If price sweeps below this level, finds strong buying pressure and quickly reclaims it, a relief move toward:
0.04061 → 0.04099 → 0.04117
becomes possible.
I wouldn't enter simply because price touches 0.03982. I want to see confirmation such as:
Bullish pin bar
Bullish engulfing candle
Strong rejection wick
5M/15M market-structure shift
Increasing buying volume
That would give the bounce more credibility.
🚀 Bullish breakout setup
The stronger bullish scenario comes if $SEI can close decisively above 0.04061.
A breakout alone isn't enough for me. I'd prefer:
Break 0.04061 → Retest → Hold → Bullish confirmation
If 0.04061 successfully flips from resistance into support, the next upside targets become:
🎯 0.04099
🎯 0.04117
🎯 0.04185–0.04223
The 0.04185–0.04223 region becomes the larger resistance/supply area to watch if momentum continues.
🔴 Bearish rejection setup
The other possibility is that price pushes above 0.04061, takes liquidity, and immediately fails.
That would be a potential bull trap.
If $SEI trades around 0.04055–0.04065 and prints a strong bearish rejection, bearish engulfing candle, or lower-timeframe structure shift, a short setup could develop.
Downside targets:
0.04000 → 0.03982
If sellers continue to dominate and price loses 0.03963 with a decisive close, the next area I'd watch is around:
0.03950
⚠️ The key distinction
This is why I don't want to blindly choose a direction here.
Above 0.04061 and holding: bullish momentum strengthens.
Sweep above 0.04061 + rejection: potential short setup.
Sweep below 0.03982 + reclaim: potential relief-long setup.
Close below 0.03963: bearish continuation becomes more likely.
📌 My current roadmap
Key demand: 0.03982
Key resistance: 0.04061
Upside: 0.04099 → 0.04117 → 0.04185–0.04223
Downside: 0.04000 → 0.03982 → 0.03950
Bullish confirmation: 1H close above 0.04061 + successful retest
Bearish continuation: Close below 0.03963
For now, I’m treating 0.04061 as the main decision level.
I don't want to predict the breakout before it happens. Let $SEI take liquidity, watch the reaction, and then follow the confirmed structure.
The reaction at the level matters more than the level itself.
