Gate Launchpool Issue 370: 1.41M DOS Rewards Are Live — But the Real Opportunity Is in the Strategy
Gate Launchpool Issue 370 has officially opened, giving users another opportunity to earn 1,410,000 $DOS through staking. The campaign runs from August 10, 2026, 19:00 to August 24, 2026, 19:00 UTC+8, creating a 14-day reward window.
What makes this Launchpool particularly interesting is that participants can choose between GUSD, USDT, and DOS staking pools, with rewards distributed automatically to eligible Spot Accounts every hour.
Reward Breakdown
• Total Rewards: 1,410,000 DOS
• GUSD Pool: 564,000 DOS
• USDT Pool: 564,000 DOS
• DOS Pool: 282,000 DOS
• Maximum Estimated Annualized Yield: Up to 245.07%
• Reward Distribution: Hourly
• Event Ends: August 24, 2026, 19:00 UTC+8
All three pools together account for the full 1.41 million DOS allocation, and the published rewards are fully unlocked rather than subject to a separate vesting schedule.
Why I Prefer the GUSD Pool
For users who want exposure to the Launchpool rewards without aggressively buying a newly launched token, the GUSD pool stands out.
GUSD staking can provide DOS rewards while GUSD itself continues to offer the stated 3.8% flexible U.S. Treasury yield, with 0-fee redemption according to the event details.
This creates an interesting structure: instead of taking full direct exposure to DOS, users can potentially keep their capital in GUSD while participating in the reward campaign.
However, there is one critical distinction: 245.07% is an estimated annualized yield, not a guaranteed 14-day return. The effective reward rate can change depending on total participation and pool size.
DOS Price: High Reward, High Volatility
DOS is currently trading around $0.43, but the price action has been extremely volatile.
Recent market ranges have shown approximately $0.35–$0.60 over 24 hours, while the broader 7-day range has been dramatically wider, highlighting the level of price discovery taking place after launch.
For my trading plan, these are the levels I am watching:
$0.35–$0.36 — First Support
A key area that I want DOS to defend.
$0.43 — Current Reference Zone
Holding around this area could keep short-term momentum constructive.
$0.50 — Psychological Resistance
A move toward $0.50 would be the first major test of upside strength.
$0.60 — Major Resistance
A sustained breakout above $0.60 with strong volume could significantly improve the bullish structure.
If DOS loses $0.35 with heavy selling pressure, I would become more defensive rather than averaging aggressively into weakness.
My Launchpool Plan
My preferred strategy is GUSD for lower direct market exposure + DOS rewards.
For higher-risk traders, the DOS pool may offer additional upside potential, but I would keep position sizing controlled because DOS remains a newly launched and highly volatile asset.
I also would not chase DOS simply because the advertised APR looks attractive. The token price can fall much faster than staking rewards accumulate.
Another point many traders overlook: hourly rewards do not mean a fixed hourly return. Your share depends on your eligible stake relative to the total pool. If participation increases significantly, the effective yield can decline.
Bottom Line
For me, this Launchpool is more attractive as a disciplined reward-farming opportunity than as a reason to blindly chase DOS.
My key levels remain $0.35 → $0.43 → $0.50 → $0.60.
I would monitor pool participation, effective APR, trading volume and price structure before increasing risk.
High APR attracts attention.
Strong risk management protects capital.
